Zenless Zone Zero Sound ReDesign
This is the complete sound redesign from Zenless Zone Zero. I am using Reaper as the main DAW with a combination of recorded sound sources and synthesized effects with Serum, Reaktor 6, and various other effects.
Super Mario Odyssey Sound ReDesign
This is a complete redesign of gameplay from Mario Odyssey. The main DAW was Reaper with a combination of recorded sound sources and synthesized effects mainly using Serum.
This was an interesting challenge as I attempted to make something that sounded familiar (coins), but still a bit original.
Creating the coin SFX
This is a very quick demonstration of how I created the coin sound effect using a synthesizer called VPS Avenger. This clip is taken from a live stream where I was creating all of the sounds for this redesign.
Alligori footstep creation
Alligori is a topdown co-op RPG. I created all of the footsteps using Serum. Here is an example of one of them.
Monster sound with Serum
Here, I demonstrate my use with Serum when creating a roaring sound for the boss in Alligori.
Quickly separating sounds with a custom Reaper macro
Here, I demonstrate how I created a custom Reaper macro to very quickly split up sounds from a single audio file. I made this macro to solve a problem on Mac where you are unable to drag audio to a plugin like Phase Plant or Weaponiser.
Making a sound loop smoothly with UE5 Metasounds.
This demonstrates how I made a sound loop seamlessly inside of Unreal Engine 5 with Metasounds.
Creating a dynamic progress bar sound in Unreal Engine 5
This video shows a quick demonstration of how I used Unreal Engine 5's Metasound system to create a dynamic progress bar sound.
